Well we must have run our of sacrificial goats by about 11am. The heavens opened and the rain reached those nooks and cranies other showers do not reach. It was heavy enough to make eleven retire. After the downpour the weather was kind enough to dry off the wet clothes, so driving home was not much of a soggy experience.

Thank you to those archers who brought in the targets at the end of the day.

Thank you also to Derek, Peter and Niel who again judged the event.

Many thanks also go to Heather and Val for providing the hot food and drinks through the day.

Last but not least, Tom and the staff at High Ashurst for making the archers welcome and providing transport for our equipment around the course.

Next year the shoot will be on Sunday, November 1st. Same place same time, hope to see you there.

John Petett (Tounnament Organiser)
