After 18 months of various fixed and removable braces my treatment is complete, it proved to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. My crooked smile has disappeared and I am very happy to smile in the knowledge that I now have straight and gapless teeth. My son's first phase treatment also came to end with pleasing results. Sharon and her team have been wonderful….. If you read this and still think I couldn’t do it, ask Sharon or a member of her team to show you my before and after photographs – you might think again!

In the beginning of my treatment I was a bit apprehensive but I was reassured completely by Mrs Orton-Gibbs, Linda and Helen. They explained the whole treatment process and never exaggerated or underestimated any part of my treatment. I had three years of orthodontic work as a child which gave me a very poor result, so by the time I got to 30 I decided that I needed to get something further done about my teeth. I wasn’t keen on having a fixed brace but Dr Orton-Gibbs suggested a range of alternative treatments to me including Invisalign.

It took a few weeks to get used to wearing the aligners at the beginning of treatment but then I found Invisalign to be exactly the treatment I had been looking for: easy to wear and virtually invisible…My treatment is complete and I am thrilled with the result.

Dr Orton-Gibbs and her team were really supportive and helpful throughout the treatment and I always felt that Dr Orton-Gibbs was willing to spend as much time with me as necessary to get the best result. I cannot recommend Invisalign or the Walpole Orthodontic Practice highly enough.

It is never too late to start treatment. Even though I had to go through my first year of university with braces, the end result was definitely worth it.

It was not until a younger dentist took over at the practice I use, that my worries about increasingly crooked teeth were heeded. I now find myself well pleased with the result not only cosmetically but even more because I am now able to keep all my teeth properly cleaned and free of the gum disease which threatened them.

I am very happy with the results – wish I’d done it years ago. Whilst the initial decision was difficult (being self-conscious of the teeth anyway) the combination of ceramic on top and gold coloured metal on the bottom row made them less noticeable.
