How far Back
In England and Wales I can trace back
most families until 1837
when civil registration started for Births/Deaths/Marriages.
Before this date it is possible to trace back to the 16th. Century in
Essex
& Hertfordshire using the Parish Registers, census returns, etc.
It would also be possible to go back before 1837 in other counties
using contacts that I have with other genealogists, who specialise in
specific counties.
