The News- Portmsouth's local newspaer which includes Daily Shipping Movements for Portsmouth and Southampton. Very useful if you are planning a visit to Portsmouth Dockyard.


Associations

 The Ton Class Association- A site dedicated to the Ton Class minesweepers of the Royal Navy and affiliated ships such as the 'Ham' and 'Ley' class that together made up the backbone of the Royal Navy's mine warfare fleet and played an important part in fishery protection, inshore patrol etc. This promises to be an extremely comprehensive web site with pictures, newspaper cuttings and information on each vessel.

 H.M.S Caviler Association- Lots of information on the last surviving Second World War Destroyer which has been preserved as a museum ship at Chatham.

 H.M.S Solebay Association- Association of the Battle Class Destroyer, H.M.S Solebay which served in the Navy between 1944-1962.

 H.M.S Tenby Association- Dedicated to the Type 12 Frigate.

 Aircrewmans Association- Association for the Aircrewman branch of the Royal Navy with details of helicopters operated by the Fleet Air Arm as well as the Bismark and Taranto operations.

Tribal Warfare- Site about the Type 81 Tribal Class Frigates.

H.M.S Broadsword Falklands '82- an account of the Type 22's involvement in the Falklands War.

 INS Dakar- The Royal Navy submarine Totem was presented with a real totem pole by a Native American tribe. It was said that if she ever left port without it she would never return. When she was sold to Israel the totem pole was removed. But as the Israeli 'Dakar' she was lost with all hands…this site is dedicated to the Dakar and has information on her recently discovered wreck.

 H.M.S Hood- Statistics and general information concerning this famous warship, launched in 1918.
