The Rose & Crown Pub in Kings Langley, Herts

Saturday 24th June 2000

The Rose & Crown is turning out to be a regular cosy place to play where the atmosphere is great. This one turned out to be one of our best to-date, mainly due to the great audience and the way they responded by dancing and singing,  and generally appearing to enjoy themselves (as they confirmed afterwards). That's what we're about, carefully selected songs which we know will get the crowd going, not blindly trying to imitate them exactly but creating our own arrangement with a "rockier" feel and great beat. The place certainly looked crowded from where we were standing.

We would like to thank the manager, and everyone who came along and enjoyed it, especially those of you who took the trouble to chat with us to compliment us on our set, and make suggestions for further numbers we could try.

Here's Tony, I don't believe it, he's smiling!

John and Gaz inside discussing last minute tactics. Notice my hair -how could you miss it

Not sure what song this was but those lights were hot!
