RM795

One of 2120 similar vehicles built by A.E.C. and Park Royal Vehicles.
As she stands
RM 795 was later converted by LT to become a promotional vehicle for Marley Plastics.

Our Routemaster spent 25 years with London Transport, working from just three garages. Her identity changed three times during that period, but she has carried the same body since October 1977. Following withdrawal, she was selected for conversion at Chiswick Works as a promotional vehicle for Marley Extrusions. More recently she has been used as an educational vehicle, presenting the science of smells to students in Kent. More details of this part of RM795s life can be found at the web page of UK Semiochemistry Network.

RM795 is seen here whilst performing her role as the NOSEBUS (9/10/99)

Whilst her appearance is now quite plain, she still retains the characteristic shape and sounds of a Routemaster. The seating capacity is currently 16(+1).

We collected RM795 on 17th February 2001. She said farewell to the other AEC in the fleet, but I'm sure they'll meet again.
