One of the nice things about preserving buses is the ability to go out on them for the day. On Saturday 19th December the RT/RF Register held their Christmas Lights Tour, starting from St Pancras in the evening. The TMR team decided to take RT2291 for the Tour. Robin Sharp drove the RT up to London, with me as passenger. (Thanks, folks!) On the way we visited to Hayes end of Bromley, making a circuit of parts of the 146, 138, 119, and 126 routes, wearing appropriate blinds, before heading for St Pancras. Once there, still in daylight, we dressed RT2291 for route 47, and waited for the other twenty or so buses to arrive for the evening tour, the next being RTW467...
