Evan Ivory and Mark Perkins have been sharing ideas for several years and in 2004 decided to bring to fruition their plans to market Fine Art Prints of their work over the internet.

Both Evan and Mark value the traditional criteria by which artwork may be judged and have set out to provide work in which the essential elements of art are present, based initially upon composition and form. With their design backgrounds such features are immediately evident in their work, together with an understanding of colour and tone.

Whilst the immediate plan is to sell Giclée Prints only, in time original work will also be available for collectors.

We have a page of our original work although these are not yet all available as Giclée prints.

Evan Ivory

EVAN IVORY

After studying for the National Diploma in Illustration, Evan Ivory worked as a technical illustrator. He later moved into graphics and opened his own practice where he gained extensive experience in both the engineering and domestic markets. For the past ten years he has lectured in art & design and held seminars in presentation and graphic techniques. He has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions and his work is now in many private collections in both the UK and America.

His interest is in the areas of aircraft, landscape and architecture which combine to form the basis of his work. Through his drawing and painting he seeks to explore the structural relationships between natural and man-made forms.

He also published a book of aircraft titled ’Scene on the ground’ which was published by Castlemead Publications in the early nineties, and which was both written and illustrated by him.

Evan lives in Hertfordshire with his wife, Lesley Anne. They have two sons.

Mark Perkins
MARK PERKINS

After studying Graphic design for four years, Mark also qualified as an Art Teacher.

He followed this with nearly 20 years as a Creative Director of a Bournemouth-based Design Studio specialising in design for print and exhibition stand design.

Nearly 10 years in secondary schools followed, teaching art to 12-18 year old students.

Ill health forced mark to abandon his career in education, encouraging him to develop his own style of representing his surroundings.

He has a fascination for imagery which is based on digital art and the main body of his work explored the fusion of traditional and digital media.

Recently he has used his adored cats as subjects for new work, traditional in it’s form, and which relies on his favoured subjects in the local environment - an environment in which he has spent all of his life.

Mark lives in Poole with his wife, Avril. They have 2 sons and a daughter. Sharing their home are 3 dogs and 18 cats!

The Giclée Print is the finest medium to use to show the work to it’s best advantage.

The process is digital and produces prints of a very high quality to bring out the finest details from the original work. They are printed on a fine 300gsm, Somerset textured paper by Dolphin Fine Art Printers in Poole, in the UK.

Each print is then individually hand signed and numbered by the artist, and supplied in a pale ivory card mount.

Sizes are standard for each artist and shown on the page of prints.
