News and Updates

On this page will be updates to the site so if you are a regular visitor hopefully you can see whats been added without trawling through the whole site.

This site requires a minimum of Msie4 or Netscape6. If you have Netscape4 or lower rip it out of your hard drive and get a browser which shows the world as it should be seen. Site seems ok in Opera, Firefox and latest Msie and Netscape but unfortunately for the 3% of Mac users out there I have no access to one so I hope its ok. If you have trouble viewing this site let me know via the contacts page.

Now the Begging bit. If you have any stories or pictures from the Bee or that Era that you would like including on this site for others to enjoy please email them to me via the contacts page (naked old girlfriend pics will be accepted for my personal collection :-) ).

Runs list updated and details of the July Busy Bee bike show at Broadlakes Lodge added

After the Agm all the committee stepped down and were re-elected except members not wishing to stand again. The changes are as follows :- Club Secretary-Sally Neville; Membership Secretary-Steve Viner; Editor-Yours Truly. I am sure everyone will extend their thanks to Mick, Roger, Sue D, and Sue P for all their work over the past year to make our club the great bike club that it is.

Runs and events updated to include Licks and Tickles run, Xmas toy run, and Pats Big "0" party.

Charity section updated to include picture from local paper of the cheque presentation.

Apologies to anyone that has not been able to send a message to the Guestbook. This is due to a problem with the ISP servers after an upgrade. Hopefully it should be resolved soon.

The times stated on the runs list for the Cellar run on the 17/05 are wrong and should be 10:00 from Otterspool and 10:30 from Denham

It's the club AGM on Thursday 22nd October so if you have anything to say regarding the running of the club make sure you get yourself down to Broadlakes Lodge and have your say.

It must be nearly Spring. Ken has been busy and sorted out lots of nice places for you to go to which are all on the Runs page for you to put in your diary, you lucky people.

Dave the Magazine Editor has been busy and has put all the magazine's on line, so if you are a cheap bastard and too tight to pay the tenner for membership and get them delivered they can be seen Here.

Just a reminder that the clubs Christmas buffet dance is on Saturday 27th November. We have a band booked to entertain us and there will be lots of food and of course a great atmosphere. This is a ticket only event with no admissions on the door and the tickets are limited so to avoid disappointment see Steve or Pat and get your tickets, a bargain at only 6 pounds.
