The Shiatsu Society - The professional organisation representing Practitioners and Teachers of Shiatsu in the UK.

Rian Visser's Shiatsu Site - Nicely laid out and has a good list of shiatsu practitioners around the world. Also, descriptions and pics of a few exercises for you.

Massage:
Touch Research Institutes - dedicated to studying the effects of touch therapy. The TRIs have researched the effects of massage therapy at all stages of life, from newborns to senior citizens. In these studies theTRIs have shown that touch therapy has many positve effects.

The Society of Homeopaths - info about the Society, homeopathy and a directory of qualified homeopaths.

European and International Councils for Classical Homeopaths - info. about the ECCH and ICCH, and a list of member associations who can provide lists of fully qualified practitioners.

The Homeopathic Information Service - well put together site currently containing the full proving details of several new remedies including Falcon, AIDS, and Dreaming remedy. Also a comprehensive list of UK homeopaths. In the future will have a database of cured symptoms (contributions from all homeopaths very welcome).

The Crown Jewels - where you can download a free 31 page booklet on the basic healing properties of 240 gemstones. There is more depth on the gems listed on the site itself.

Health:
The Notmilk Homepage - information and campaigning against the promotion of milk as a good healthy food. US based site, so contains a lot of reference to rBGH (BST) and other growth hormones, which are due over here soon. If you don't know about them, then maybe it's time to find out.

RxList - a good source of information about orthodox drugs - how they work, their side effects and dangers.

Environmental Issues:
RAFI - is dedicated to the conservation and sustainable improvement of agricultural biodiversity, and to the socially responsible development of technologies useful to rural societies. RAFI is concerned about the loss of genetic diversity - especially in agriculture - and about the impact of intellectual property on agriculture and world food security.

EnviroLink - non-profit organisation providing comprehensive, up-to-date environmental information and news. Great resource.
