The name "Skamper" (Sky-Camper) reflects the significance of our super new elevating roof design which gives a totally unique approach to the creation of space in a compact camper. It is not the cheapest way of making an elevating roof, but, we feel for what it offers, it is the very best.
The mischievous little Skamper comes as standard as a two berth, but if only one person is to sleep in it the second bed mattress can be left at home, creating yet more storage space.
When compared to other competitors in the micro camper class we believe the Skamper has far more storage capacity, higher levels of equipment, and far more comfortable seats. Indeed, we feel the
Skamper will hold it's own when compared to campers from the next (much more expensive) class up.
Oh, and of course at only 6'4" high it will fit in most garages!

Standard vehicle specification includes;
White Fiat Fiorino with 1.3 ltr Multijet turbo diesel engine producing 75 BHP and 190 NM torque. Emissions; Euro 4, only 119 g/km, or if the automatic gearbox is chosen the emissions reduce to only 116 g/km which is currently £35 a year. The Skamper is very economical with 50 - 60 m.p.g. being achievable.

Standard Skamper conversion specification;
Four forwards facing seats for travelling, contoured and comfortable (subject to payload) all with three point seat belts. For camping, Skamper has two rear facing seats in the back with a large storage locker underneath.
A very special, Sky Sleeper elevating roof which is raised at the touch of a switch electrically, with insulated slide out bed trays with bed mattresses permanently in place (very convenient) this gives a tremendous amount of space that really does have to be seen to be appreciated! There are large vents and windows incorporated in the Sky Sleeper roof. For those colder nights at the ends of the season Skamper has "background" electric
heating (silent) under the bed mattresses, a bit like heated car seats! how "cool" is that!
Skamper has a sink and two burner hob with piezo ignition and flame failure device. Fresh water storage is a Jerry can type 12 litre ( 2.6 gallon), easy to carry to the tap or drive the vehicle. Easily accessed through the rear doors. The water is electrically pumped to the sink.
Slide out storage cupboard in the kitchen unit that is used as a sturdy platform to access the beds (no wobbly ladders here!). Dedicated Porta Potti storage, accessible at bed time of course. Large under floor storage compartment, accessed from inside or outside, about the size of a decent suitcase, ideal for shoes, boots, and general "clobber". Mains hook up and outlet, RCD safety device, 12 amp battery charger. Gas compartment for 1 x camping Gaz 907 and 1 x 901 vented to the outside. Two individual tables which also provide additional worktop.
