In 2006 the new Sprintaway caused somewhat of a stir in the caravan industry when it won it's class, "Folding Caravans and Pop Tops', in the Caravan Club's prestigious 'Lightweight Leisure Trailer Award'. It appears that it enjoyed a comfortable win. Unfortunately, The Caravan Club has had to cancel this class for 2007 as none of our competitors seem prepared to offer their models for evaluation!  You will no doubt draw your own conclusions from this, as we have ...

The Sprintaway won outright "Best Build Quality 2007" (with maximum marks possible) and  jointly won the "Best Value for Money" class.

We believe the Sprintaway is the best and most thoughtfully designed caravan ever built - it's design is truly revolutionary. The Sprintaway has the lowest centre of gravity helping towards being the safest and best towing caravan on the market.  We believe it has considerably more storage and food preparation
surfaces than any other caravan in it's class, and has (by far) the most comfortable seats and beds.  The Sprintaway's compact dimensions means it can be stored in most domestic garages, go under most height barriers and be economical to tow (free on the French Autoroutes!) furthermore, the Sprintaway is no wider than a small car so you won't need to mess about with extra mirrors!

Sprintaway Lux; £14,509 including 15% VAT, on the road charges and delivery anywhere U.K. mainland. Stylish, sleek, tough and very long lasting fibreglass body with a choice of interior colours.  Exceptionally low centre of gravity and ride height (still with more ground clearance than a car) and cavernous storage compartments sunk into the floor (similar volume to four large suitcases).  Exceptionally comfortable sofa/settee style seating for two with high back backrest with adjustable recline angle.  Seating for four people if one single bed is made up. Galvanised chassis for longevity (5 year warranty). Alko 1300 stabiliser with automatic reverse and overrun brakes. Alko "Safety hitch" (locks onto car tow ball). 13" wheels with TYRON safety bands fitted for piece of mind safety. Two generous single beds or one double bed.  Two gas struts take the strain out of raising the roof  and gives 6'5"+ of internal headroom it has two large vents and a window in the lining and a large dome vent in the roof giving an incredibly light and airy feel to the interior.   Four almost flush double glazed Polyvision' windows, all opening with Remismart blinds and fly screens.  Remote control Carver electric mover for single-handed, effortless manoeuvring and hitching, this brilliant device can also be used for levelling - simply "drive" up a wedge shaped levelling block (on one side) until the spirit level on the draw bar shows it to be level!  On board Whale self priming electric pump that draws water from the portable (on wheels) external 23 litre (5 gallon) Fiamma tank to deliver fresh water to the stainless steel sink/drainer with it's moulded in fibreglass splash back. Portable waste tank.  Stainless steel Smev two burner hob with flame failure device and piezo ignition with smoked glass lid (grill available at extra cost)  Elecsol 110 amp auxiliary battery.  Three double fluorescent lights.

12 volt outlet. Gas compartment for one camping GAZ 907 and one 901 reserve (vented to the exterior). Fire extinguisher with gauge.   

Built in 50 ltr compressor fridge, tilt tolerant to 300, turn on at beginning of holiday (only ten minutes to get down to temperature) and don't touch it until you return home - it doesn't get any easier than this!   Flush fitting 55 watt Solar panel built into the elevating roof cap to supplement charging to the auxiliary battery (typically giving 5-6 days without a hook up).   Slide up and out (into the gangway) under seat locker storage drawers.   Dedicated storage cupboard for Porta Potti 335. Two large tables.  Sink/drainer cover can be placed on the end of sink unit for additional worktop space.   The cabinet work is constructed from a combination of 12 mm plywood with either a tough mottled grey (Puntinella) or cream (Sahara) laminate finish with beautifully finished moulded fibreglass tops/splash- backs, for a small additional cost these are available in a very smart granite effect!  Piano hinges are used for all cupboard doors. 

Wider than usual rear entry door at 25" (640 mm) wide makes it easy to load and transport two cycles or a tandem inside. Tailored lift out mat. Detailed owners instruction manual.
