Whittington Castle is home to a variety of wildlife. The Swans are a popular attraction particularly when nesting on the moat. This season (2007) 4 cygnets have survived. Come to the Castle regularly and watch them grow.

The Castle is home to a variety of water fowl.

Bags of Duck food are available either at the Castle or at the Castle Gallery opposite at a cost of 20p. Visitors are encouraged to feed these wild birds with the approved food rather than bread to ensure they have a balanced diet.
