| Northwood
appears to be an attempt at joining Cowes to Newport by nearly merging with Parkhurst. On
the surface it appears to be a 19th century suburb of Cowes, in fact there is a tiny old
village down one of the lanes leading to the river Medina. Here there is an old church and
