Parkhurst is the northerly suburb of Newport. It's main claim to fame is its three prisons: Parkhurst, Albany, and Camp Hill.

Nearby is Parkhurst Forest, the largest woodland on the Island. Here, you can spot the rare Red Squirrel, Woodpeckers and many other species. There is also many different species of tree besides the common Forestry Commission conifer.
