| Wootton
at the base of the creek bearing its name, is not a village with much interest for the
visitor. But, there is the Sloop Inn where you can enjoy good food and a pint whilst
looking at the busy boat traffic in the creek. South of the road bridge that spans the creek is another world where waterfowl inhabit the slow moving river, and boats can be hired.
