My site is only very new. I'll develop it properly at a later date. All the information here is correct and will appear on the site when it is published fully. Web sites are just one of my hobbies, but the only one (at the moment) that has turned into a job. I started learning how to create web sites years ago, then when HTML 3.2 came out I decided to turn it into a serious job. I bought a whole load of books and went through and learnt several web technologies. I started Wildfire shortly after to share my knowldge. I was then asked by a few friends to design some simple web sites. After doing a few jobs I considered turning this into a part-time job, so I founded TelaCo, a small web design company. I try to stand out because at TelaCo I can offer translation services alongside the web design. I hope that TelaCo will get a few more jobs, and expand so I can create my own project sites. I have also worked twice for BT as a part-time web designer. As well as web sites I enjoy music a lot. I listen to a whole variety of genres. At the moment my favorite bands , "Guns and Roses", "Slash's Snakepit", "Green Day", "Beatles", "Dave Matthews Band", "Ben Folds Five", "Izzy Stradlin'" etc. I am learning the guitar, and have a Fender Stratocaster. I am also trying to pick up the basics of the piano. The guitar is self-taught with help from a few friends. I like traveling and visiting foriegn countries. I have travelled through quite a lot of western Europe including Scotland (my home country), England (where I live), Wales and the Republic of Ireland, France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark and Sweden. Summer 1999 I went walking for a few days in Yosemite National Park, California, and cycling up the west coast of the USA. For futrue travel plans I hope to visit parts of Eastern Europe within a few years. Most of my holidays involve either cycle touring or walking. |
