The Renovation

The main tonal alterations to the organ since it was built had been the loudening of many stops, particularly in the treble, and the cutting up of the Great Clarabella, the Swell Lieblich Gedackt and the Swell Double Diapason, presumably in order to achieve a fuller (and thicker) sound. The metal flue pipes have now been brought back into balance and for the time being, the three wooden stops have been regulated to give the best effect. All the pipes are original to the organ and none have been transposed.
