LIBRARY

The school library is extremely well stocked. Many of the books are brand new and as I am sure you will appreciate expensive! Each class is timetabled to use and enjoy the library.

Children are encouraged to use it to find reference books and employ developing retrieval skills as part of topic work, class activities etc.

Every child in the school is allowed to take home a book from the library to look at, read and enjoy with an adult.

Your child is allowed to keep the book for one week, when it should be returned to the library.

If he/she would like to keep a book for a further week, then of course this is permissible.

Children are allowed to take out another book on return of a book on loan.
