Corporate Charters

Corporate sailing can take on many different forms. Each company has different ideas on how they would like their charter to go, some would like to just entertain their clients with a leisurely sail in the Solent, whilst others want to give their guests a real taste of sailing a Class One race boat. Companies also use sailing as a way of team building, our yachts giving an ideal situation to bring together a co-ordinated team. We have never failed to fulfil all our charterers expectations for entertaining clients, guests, and fellow workers.

Day Sail in the Solent

Based in the Solent, your day would begin on one of our yachts at Ocean Village Marina, Southampton. The most popular destination for clients is the premier yachting town of Cowes on the Isle of Wight giving them an opportunity to view the best aspects of the Solent without having to stretch their sailing ability.

The day would start with a run through of all aspects of sailing and safety on board, accompanied with coffee and biscuits. We like to aim to set sail by 10.00am. If you are having lunch on board, we can if weather permits, pick up a buoy in the Harbour and watch the world go by as you and your guests relax over a buffet lunch. If however you wish to step onto dry land, we can moor the yacht in one of the many excellent marinas and have lunch at a local Yacht club or restaurant. The Island Sailing Club has proved to be popular in the past with its sailing history and beautiful panoramic views of the Solent.

The yacht comes with a fully qualified skipper, who would show your guests all aspects of sailing a yacht if they wish to do so. We can also organise extra crew members if you want a really relaxed day, and can also supply a hostess to arrange all the catering on board for you and your guests.

After lunch the day will end with yet another sail, to end at Ocean Village. On the way you will be able once again to put into effect your new found sailing skills.

Charter - 40' Yacht including skipper from £425 (8 - 10 guests, £43 per head)

Race Regattas

Many companies have discovered the excellence of participating in regattas. Our strength is providing first class racing yachts for all the classic regattas held in the Solent such as Cowes Week, Round the Island Race, Little Britain Challenge etc. These weekends combine the pleasures of day sailing with a more competitive edge. Again the yacht will come with a fully qualified racing skipper and race crew if needed to help in the initial stages of getting the crew to work effectively together.

As well as participating in large regattas we can also create a specific regatta for you and your company. The most popular Yacht for this style of event is the Sigma 38, which combines excellent sailing ability with good looks and comfort. These events usually take the form of training in the morning, tacking, gybing, sail changes etc. followed by a short race in the afternoon. We find that these events certainly bring out the competitive edge in everyone!
