4th June 2005 Advertising removed, Blog moved
At long last I have regained control of the wolfmud.org domain. It has been moved to a new registra with new forwarding services and we no longer have to put up with the unwelcome advertising popups!
Please note that as of the 11th June 2005 I will not be renewing the codecrafterstudio.com domain. As a result the Blog can now be reached at diddymus.is-a-geek.net. Please update your bookmarks and RSS feeds.
22nd January 2005 Advertising popups :(
It has come to my attention that the company who provide the 'free domain forwarding' for www.wolfmud.org have taken it upon themselves to add Javascript popup windows for advertising. Their forwarding takes the form of 'cloaking' and displaying www.wolfmud.org in a frame they generate. Suddenly they are also generating Javascript to display the popups. Until I can sort the situation out, if the popups annoy you as much as they do me, please visit the site with a browser that blocks popups (such as the freely available FireFox ) or access the site directly at www.btinternet.com/~wolfmud
11th July 2004 WolfMUD servers updated, new address.
Well after a power cut took down the server a few days ago I have finally updated the official WolfMUD servers to run the latest WolfMUD code. Quite a shame really as the main official server had an uptime of just over 3000 hours :( Also the official servers can now be found at diddymus.is-a-geek.net ports 4001 and 4002. Full details of the official servers can be found on the servers page.
5th June 2004 HTML Blog added
There is now an HTML version of the Blog at http://www.btinternet.com/~wolfmud/feed.xml. It views ok using FireFox but have not tested it with IE at all. However if you have any problems please let me know diddymus@wolfmud.org

Well after being asked by a lot of people I've finaly got around to adding an RSS feed for blogging to this site. If you want to know more about what I am doing and things I have to say you can subscribe to the feed at http://www.btinternet.com/~wolfmud/feed.xml. It should be RSS 2.0 compliant and I have tried it with Straw, Raggle and the RSS Reader Panel extension for FireFox. However if you have any problems please let me know diddymus@wolfmud.org
25th April 2004 New release - build 307 - available!
Finally after far too long a delay the new version of WolfMUD is available for download :) This release adds Races and Professions for characters. Both can be created through the World Builder allowing builders to create many, many Races and Professions for their games and allowing for unique customisation for their players. There are also a number of bug fixes including one which could cause a server to lockup. The elusive ArrayIndex message in the Builder has also been silenced with many thanks to Dennis Cartier for his patch.
