Telnet Resources

The following Telnet clients have been tested with WolfMUD to varying degrees of success. If there is a client not on this list that you would like adding/testing please contact us. Other client software may work with WolfMUD but if not, contact us and we will see what we can do.

KMUD
A free MUD client for the KDE desktop on Linux, even though I run it using the XFCE desktop. This is a small and very reasonable client I like to use. It seems to work well with WolfMUD.

ZMUD from Zugg Software
This is one of my favorites and seems to work well.

MudMaster
This client will work but seems to have a problem it accepting fast data streams. If connected locally you may get missing information as the client doen't seem to be able to process the data quick enough. Over a network you may find it is slow enough to keep up with the server.

NetTerm
May have to press enter twice to execute a command in lineinput mode for some reason - and it gets very anoying ;o( Other that that works very well.

GMud
This client seems to have the same problems as the MudMaster client.

Windows95/NT TelNet
It may be in monochrome. It may have no seperate input line. It may look really nasty. It does work if you are in a bit of a fix, or just want a fast client :o)
