Booking Conditions
1. Operation of a Tour
A tour requires a minimum of 10 persons. Unless
this number is reached a tour will be cancelled and all monies
will be returned to you.
2. Confirmation
Your tour will be confirmed in writing after we receive your
completed booking form and the appropriate deposit, together with
the insurance premium (plus additional insurance premium
where appropriate - see 5 below), subject to 1 above.
Payment of the deposit is regarded as your acceptance of the
Booking Conditions and is non refundable, but may be reclaimed
from the Tour Insurance when the reason falls within its terms.
3. Your Final Balance and
Travel Tickets
The balance of your account is payable not later than 12 weeks
before tour departure. If payment is not made by the due date, we
reserve the right to advise you of the cancellation of your tour
booking and make a cancellation charge at the appropriate rate.
Full payment should accompany bookings made within 12 weeks of
departure. Your air tickets and final instructions should be sent
10 days prior to departure.
4. Cancellation
If you find that you cannot take a tour and have to cancel, for
what ever reason, your deposit will be forfeited to cover our
costs. You must notify us immediately in writing. Until written
confirmation is received, we will continue to hold your
reservation. All cancellations will be acknowledged.
Cancellations incur the following charges:
* More than 56 days before Tour starts; loss of deposit only.
* 56-29 days; 30% of the total Tour price.
* 28-15 days; 60% of the total Tour Price.
* 14-1 day; 100% of the total Tour price.
* On or after Tour starts; 100% of the total Tour price.
Your Tour Insurance may cover the cost of cancellation.
5. Tour Insurance
Insurance is essential and travel will not be permitted with out
adequate cover. A group policy will be arranged and payment of the
premium will be collected at the time of booking.
The premium will be included in the anticipated tour
costs (if aged 19 or over an additional premium will be
payable). This insurance, among other things, aims to
reduce to an absolute minimum your expenses in the event of last
minute changes to, or cancellations of, your tour. It also covers
all non hazardous sporting and
related activities which are available at Wolverine Camps.
Summary of main cover:
* Medical and other expenses - up to £5,000,000.
* Cancellation - up to £3,000.
* Personal Accident - up to £40,000.
* Missed Departure - up to £500 towards the additional travel and accommodation costs incurred to reach your destination where this is due to failure of public transport.
* Luggage - up to £1,500 in total for loss or damage Maximum £250 per article and £350 for valuables in total.
* Luggage Delay - up to £100 for emergency purchases where luggage hasn't arrived within 12 hours.
* Replacement of Passport, Tickets, Travel Documents or Money - assistance up to £200 in total or £100 per item.
* Legal Expenses - up to £5,000 for approved legal costs to pursue compensation arising from injury or death.
* Personal Liability up to £1,000,000.
The first £40 of each claim for
Medical, Luggage, Money, Cancellation and Curtailment cover is
excluded. Certain cover maybe restricted if person under
16 years of age.

When a booking is confirmed all insurance premiums will
have been paid and are non refundable.
6. If We Are Forced To
Make Changes
Wolverine International will do its utmost to provide all the
arrangements that have been confirmed, but must reserve the right
to alter or cancel any activities, accommodation or other
arrangements, if operational or other considerations so dictate.
Programmes may need to be varied according to prevailing weather
conditions and other operational considerations. The price of a
tour is subject to surcharge as a result of governmental action
or currency fluctuation. Even in these cases we will absorb an
amount equivalent to 2% of the tour price. Only amounts in excess
of this 2% will be surcharged. If this means paying more than 10%
of the tour price, you will be entitled to cancel your tour with
the full refund of all money paid. Should you decide to cancel
because of this, you must exercise your right to do so within 14
days from the issue date printed on our advice. Prices given for
a tour have been fixed at an exchange rate determined by and
between Wolverine Camps and Wolverine International.
7. Our Responsibility
Wolverine International accepts responsibility for those elements
of the tour arrangements which are under our direct control and
for the acts and/or omissions of our agents and suppliers, save
as set out below, no liability is accepted for personal illness,
injury or death unless caused by the proven negligence of
Wolverine International or its employees. We cannot be held
responsible for the loss of enjoyment or additional expenses due
to delays or changes in any travel arrangements or other services
which are caused by circumstances which are outside our direct
control. These include force majeure events such as war, riot,
civil strife, industrial dispute or adverse weather conditions
and injury, loss or damage that may occur while we are using
third parties or subcontractors such as transportation agents or
companies. No liability is accepted for any land or air carriers
whose individual conditions of carriage apply and are often
subject to international agreements. Should you have the
misfortune to suffer Personal Injury during the period of your
tour, arising out of any activity which does not form part of the
arrangements made by us and which is the responsibility of a
third party, we will give all reasonable help in resolving any
claim that you may pursue. You must make a claim under the Legal
Expenses section of the Tour Insurance policy and this help will
include any assistance required, but not legal fees, up to a
limit of £5,000 in total.
8. Your Responsibility
Wolverine International must be fully advised in advance of any
disabilities, social or behavioural problems and where the person
is under 18 years of age it is the responsibility of the parent,
guardian or other person acting in 'loco parentis' to do so. We
reserve the right to decline a booking form or exclude any person
if he/she is not thought compatible with the general enjoyment
and well-being of a tour. Any additional costs involve, including
transportation home, will at your expense or parent/guardian
expense and no refund of the tour cost will be made.
9. Personal Property
All personal property, including baggage, is your own
responsibility at all times. We would advise you not to bring
expensive watches, jewellery or other precious items. Should you
suffer loss or damage of an item then this must be reported
immediately to a Staff member of Wolverine Camps and the Tour
Manager.
10. Swimming Ability
It is expected that all participants in a tour will be able to
swim 50 metres. Should this not be the case then we must be
advised in writing and restrictions may have to be placed on some
activities that can be undertaken at Wolverine Camps and possibly
other venues.
11. Complaints and
Compensation
In the unlikely event there is a problem or difficulty on a tour,
the matter must be reported immediately to any Staff member of
Wolverine Camps and the Tour Manager. Should the problem not be
resolved then please write to us within 10 days of the completion
of the tour. Only if the above conditions are met will we
consider reasonable compensation.
