The owner of Wolverine International and Tour Manager is Alan Clifford who has travelled extensively through out the USA and Canada. He has personally visited Colonial Michilimackinac and the Straits of Mackinac. The owners of Wolverine Camps have been personally known to him since 1993. Considerable assistance has been provided by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, Mackinac Island State Park Commission and the staff of the Mackinac State Historic Parks. Additional assistance has been provided by Great Lakes of North America, and their UK office - (see Update).

Wolverine
Camps is located in the beautiful Sturgeon River valley
of northern Michigan tucked away from the distractions of
a city in an atmosphere highly conducive to the
development of fundamental skills. Specialist Camps are operated during the Summer and an Outdoor Education Programme (for
school groups) is
offered during the rest of the year. A Camp

extensive facilities available. |

The
camp owns and maintains excellent facilities and
equipment for the enjoyment, training and safety of every
student. These facilities are situated on 360 acres of
rolling wooded land dotted with trout ponds and streams.Wolverine is reached by I-75 (exit 301) - (location map or detail map) - from Detroit (some 250 miles south) and the Mackinac Bridge (some 40 miles north - giving access from the Upper Peninsular and Canada). |

Spending Money:
It is recommended that not
more than $100 (US) be carried for the duration of the tour. If
larger amounts are deemed necessary then it should be carried
either in US$ traveller cheques (not UKŁ or any other currency)
or by means of a debit or credit card.
