The
owners/directors have operated Wolverine Camps since
1968 providing outdoor education facilities on a year
round basis. |

Wolverine
Camps is located in the beautiful Sturgeon River valley
of northern Michigan tucked away from the distractions of
a city in an atmosphere highly conducive to the
development of fundamental skills. Specialist Camps are operated during the Summer and an Outdoor Education Programme (for
school groups) is
offered during the rest of the year. A Camp
Map shows the
extensive facilities available. |
||
The
camp owns and maintains excellent facilities and
equipment for the enjoyment, training and safety of every
student. These facilities are situated on 360 acres of
rolling wooded land dotted with trout ponds and streams.Wolverine is reached by I-75 (exit 301) - (location map or detail map) - from Detroit (some 250 miles south) and the Mackinac Bridge (some 40 miles north - giving access from the Upper Peninsular and Canada). |

John
Zimmerle, President of Wolverine Camps, has had extensive
