FROM AQUEDUCT
TO VIADUCT

This is one of our "History on our Doorstep" projects funded by the Local Heritage Initiative. This funding enabled Anna McEvoy, the archaeologist at the City Discovery Centre at Bradwell Abbey, to take a series of evening classes on Wolverton industrial archaeology. Anna and her students then devised this guide.

This booklet is aimed at those readers with little or no previous knowledge of industrial archaeology, with the hope that it will interest them to take it further.

Sections include: Wolverton Works; Transport; Power and Utilities; the Town; Other Industries; Leisure; War Work and the Wider Landscape.

The 16-page full colour booklet costs £1 and can be obtained from Wolverton Library, St Andrew's Books and the Living Archive.
