EXHIBITION and AIMS
SHOP REGENERATION GRANTS

When various plans were discussed to improve Wolverton Town Centre, the shops themselves were considered to be integral to this regeneration. The public was asked in "Wolverton On The Right Track" consultations how they would like to see the local shops improved. The majority of those who expressed an opinion said that they would like to see a return of the more traditional style of shop front. It was then decided by the Wolverton Partnership that some of the regeneration funding should be put towards grants so that interested shopkeepers could make these improvements.

It was decided that we should be the subgroup to see this project through. We have been liaising with the shopkeepers on a very regular basis and are looking forward to the end results.

The following shops have completed their shopfront improvements. Click on a picture to see 'before' and 'after' views of the shop and a description of the improvements. Some pictures will be replaced when better ones are available.
