I am trying to find some connections to my WEBB family in Norfolk. I have traced and confirmed the line back, in the Kings Lynn area, from William born 1803 as follows:-
James (1) b. 1759 who married Frances HALL in 1770, who later died, and had a son James (2) born 1771. After the death of Frances he married Mary THWAITES in 1777 - it is not clear if there were any children. However Mary died and James (1) then married Sarah ADDISON in 1784 which resulted in two children William b. 1784 and Isaac b. 1792.
James (2) married Anne SPOONER in 1795 and had 5 children - Sophia b.1795, Mary b. 1796, Susanna b. 1799, James (3) b. 1798 and William b. 1803. It is believed that Mary and James (3) died young.
William married Teresa Lack FOX, in London, in 1834.

There are other WEBB marriages with associated names of WOODHOUSE, ALCOCK circa 1747 and 1739. Any possible connections to these families or information much appreciated. I would also like to see if the WEBB line can be traced back to the 1550s

There seems to have been four or five WEBB families in Kings Lynn in the period 1770 to 1800 and the consensus is that it is very likely that they were all related in some way even back to the earliest times. The population of Kings Lynn in the mid 18th century was believed to be only circa 10,000 to 11,000 which also tends to suggest that the possibility of related families is quite likely.
