I am researching the WEBB family of Ashwick House, Marshfield. The WEBBs were of the RICHMOND-WEBB family of Rodbourne but Nicholas WEBB took over the manor of Ashwick in the 16th century. The manor stayed in the same family until Lucy WEBB, heiress of Ashwick, married Isaac HORLOCK (of Wingfield, Trowbridge) in 1754, after which they adopted the name of WEBB-HORLOCK. Any information on these families would be welcome.
