| Since 1986, the Pentyrch Hill Race, which incorporates the South Wales Regional Fell Running Championship, has been run annually on the last Tuesday of April. Organised by St. Catwg's Church with support from the South Wales Region AAA, the race starts at 7pm from Pentyrch Village Hall (registration 6.30 at the Rugby Club). It covers approximately 7 miles with climbs totalling some 1700 feet, and usually attracts around 100 entrants, principally from Wales and the West Country. |
