Pentyrch Open Gardens |
|
From small beginnings in 2000, Pentyrch Open Gardens has grown over the years and so has the enjoyment amongst visitors. They not only find inspiration, but also exchange many handy tips and ideas. We are very pleased that, in 2006, two of our gardens featured in ITV’s Britain’s Best Back Gardens, and in 2007, two became Cardiff in Bloom winners. This will have given Pentyrch inspiration to an even wider public. All funds raised by Pentyrch Open Gardens are donated to good causes in the community. The broad variety of exciting gardens is complemented by excellent refreshments around the village, market & craft stalls, children’s activities and a sizeable plant sale. Courtesy buses will be available should your legs get weary. And new in 2008 will be home-made preserves made with local garden produce. Visitors regularly comment on the friendliness of the villagers, which has helped contribute to the ongoing success of this annual event. Why not pay us a visit this year? You will find plenty to do for the whole family, and have a great day out. ......Welcome!
