Pentyrch Bowling Club: Part of an impressive sports complex at Parc-y-Dwrlyn, which also provides facilities for rugby, football, cricket and tennis.  The bowling green gardens have been developed to provide a striking display of flowers and shrubs which is a glowing testament to the efforts of two club members.
Heol-y-Pentre: Featured in ITV’s Britain’s Best Back Gardens during 2006.  ‘Cardiff in Bloom’ winner 2007.
Pentyrch Primary School: Award-winning school garden. Begun in 2000 by ‘Groundkidz’
Mountain Road: Five times ‘Cardiff in Bloom Front Garden’ winner & 2003 ‘Cardiff in Bloom Supergardener’ winner
