St Annes-on-Sea the Opal of the Fylde Coast is a traditional
seaside resort with a Victorian Pier.
Well away from the crowds with a Victorian character and a more
relaxed feel than Blackpool, Lytham St Annes can offer a quieter coastal base
close to Blackpool Airport. The promenade, beach and sand dunes are just at
the end of Beach Rd.
Along the prom you will find Mini-golf, an amusement arcade, miniature
train, swimming pool, trampolines and a 4 screen cinema. For the adults both
Ashton Gardens and the promenade and its Victorian gardens provide the ideal
venues for a leisurely stroll. The resort caters well for couples and families
alike.

Gardens to St Annes town centre and its extensive range of shops. These
include J.R.Taylor's department store, numerous fashion stores, gift shops
and speciality food shops as well as the more usual high street chains. Eating OutThe town centre and the Wood St cafe quarter is brimming with cafes, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets. From Woodlands you can leave your car behind and stroll to the venue of your choice. Golf Lytham St Annes is an ideal base for the golfer with its renowned golf courses. Woodlands is situated midway between St Annes Old Links and, Royal Lytham and St Annes. Both less than 3 min by car. Fairhaven and Green Drive are about 3-4 miles (8 min) away. NearbyLytham and Preston to the south and Blackpool, Cleveleys and Fleetwood to the north are all easily accessible by bus from the end of Beach Rd. For those with their own transport Manchester, Southport, Lancaster and the Lake District are all about an hour's drive. Other
