SA-2

Gradually being phased out of service among Warsaw Pact forces, the GUIDELINE (NATO designation) has been exported in large numbers to Warsaw Pact members and other armies around the world, including Cuba, Indonesia, Iraq and Egypt.   The 2-stage missile is 10.7m in length and uses a high-explosive warhead delivered by a terminal guidance radar, but in 1967 a slightly longer version was seen that is believed to carry a nuclear warhead.  China produced an unlicensed copy that was nearly identical to the Soviet model.

Here's another really big one from The Launch Pad!   At 51 1/2 inches tall, you'll find our designs for the GUIDELINE SA-2 MISSILE to be an accurate 1/8.22 scale representation down to the tiniest available detail.  A three "D" engine cluster lofts this rocket with a roar, then activates the electrical self-contained 2nd-stage ignition system.  Both booster and upper stage are returned safely by large 18" diameter parachutes.  A must for the International Collection!
