BULLPUP AGM
12-C
The largest of the Bullpup series of missiles, the AGM-12C is
also the oddest-looking member. Distinguished from the other Bullpup
versions by its unusual long-chord wings, this missile was tracked visually to
the target by the launching pilot with the aid of two high-intensity flares in
the tail. Aiming was manual, by means of a radio command joystick in the
attacking aircraft. It carried 1,000 lbs. of high explosives in the
enlarged midsection. Foreign users included the Royal Navy and various
NATO forces. Some Bullpups are still in service, usually in ground attack
training programs.
By popular request, now available in kit form! For 1998,
we have refined this missile design once again to give you a museum-quality kit
in accurate 1/4.62 scale, making it a perfect display companion for our Bullpup
AGM-12B. Composite "E" or "F" motors give spectacular
performance, flight after flight. (Black powder "D" motors are
not recommended for this kit.)
