Planning one’s own future is futile. God can do this sort of thing a lot better. So, why bother? After all, some of the parameters are non-negotiable; e.g. lifespan, health (oh yes, I know all about healthy eating, drinking and fucking in moderation).
In the past, I used to plan my future carefully. In the future, I will continue doing this about my
past. Planning one’s past is a lot easier than
planning one’s future. All one has to do is
invent a life and convince others that it has been his/hers.
