Nestled on the banks of the picturesque River Wye just below Wilton Bridge, Wilton Court enjoys the most idyllic of settings. From its position on the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye and just a few hundred yards from the roundabout at the junction of the A49 and the A40 Wilton Court offers a perfect base for those wishing to explore everything this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has to offer.

Parts of this historic building date back to the early 16th Century when it was used as a Magistrates Court and when the cellars of the building led through an underground passageway to the nearby Jail at what is now the White Lion Inn. Today Helen and Roger Wynn have stamped their combined experience of the hotel world on this enchanting 10 bedroom riverside restaurant with rooms and have put Wilton Court in a league of its own for visitors seeking a stylish and relaxing weekend in Ross-on-Wye and rural Herefordshire.

The accommodation is of a high standard and all ten en suite bedrooms overlook either the river or the gardens and are complete with modern facilities. The majority of the rooms have either king or super king beds. Each room is individually decorated and reflects a warmth of character with either William Morris or Sanderson wall papers and fabrics. Beams and fireplaces dating from the 16th century have been exposed in the orginal part of the building. On the second floor the family suite comprises of one twin bedroom and one double bedroom with en suite bathroom which can be reserved for a family of four or five. Wi fi wireless internet access is available in all rooms while DVD players and free view boxes are also available. All bedrooms are non smoking. Other amenities and services include room service, direct dial telephones, colour tv/ video players, clock radios, hairdryers, kimonos, Goldchrist and Soames toiletries, bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities, cots, high chair, dry cleaning laundry service, express check out, left luggage storage facilities, private car park and local car hire.

Wilton Court is justifiably proud of its food which is served in the Mulberry Restaurant or the Wilton Bar and uses the finest local produce from Herefordshire and neighbouring counties. Wilton Court was awarded Restaurant of the Year in the Flavours of Herefordshire Awards 2009 and Silver winners in the Heart of England Excellence in Tourism 2009 awards for Restaurant and Small Hotel. They are the first property in Herefordshire to be awarded 5 star Restaurant with rooms and 2 rosettes by the AA.

The Mulberry Restaurant seats 50 diners and the seasonally changing menus are served for dinner Monday to Saturday and for traditional Sunday lunch. The restaurant is on two levels with two tables on the lower level making access easier for wheelchair users. The stylish conservatory opens onto a walled garden that has a three hundred year old Mulberry tree.

The Wilton Bar seats 25 diners, has river views and enjoys an open fire in winter and outside tables in the courtyard suitable for al fresco dining in the summer. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner serving both a table d'hôte menu and à la carte menu at lunchtimes and the Mulberry Restaurant menu in the evenings. A childrens selection and vegetarian options are always available. Both restaurants are non smoking. 

The Mulberry Restaurant and Wilton Suite are also ideal for private parties entertaining up to 50 and 12 guests respectively. A wide selection of cocktail party, lunch and dinner menus will make birthdays, anniversaries christenings and all types of celebration an assured  success.
