ancient Druids of a past time, lived the lengh andbreadth of what was
called the Isle of the Mighty .Named as such by the ancient Greeks
Here in the High White Peaks, the Druids settled these rolling moors and desolate places ,away from the invading Romans .Who in the black year of 64ce,massacred and burnt the ancient Oaks groves on Inis Mon.
